Living in Love – A Meditation

Friday left us all shocked, shaken and deeply saddened.

Throughout the weekend, our hearts pounded, our throats tightened and many tears were shed, many questions asked.

And now, somehow, life must go on. The three days of state mourning are officially over. Normality is slowly regaining momentum, with its little tasks, metro rides, work commitments and shopping lists.

But how do we continue believing in and working towards positive change when our hearts have been broken at such a profound level? What are we to do with all these difficult emotions?

We’re going to need much, much, much love.

It’s imperative that we find our way back into the light. To live in love, to rise above fear, and to embrace unity. This is of course the only answer to divisive and fear-based measures. And it all starts from within. Being strong enough on an individual level to choose love, daily.

Our individual contribution to the collective energy of the planet is vitally important, perhaps more important than one might think. It’s useful to be conscious of what we’re putting out into the world energetically, especially during these strange times. We need to make sure that we’re part of the solution, not the problem.

With this in mind, here is our small contribution. It’s an 8-minute guided meditation that aims to help you embrace and nurture your inner light. Consciously connecting to the light within is a powerful practice that can help overcome feelings of sadness or fear, and in turn invite others to raise their energy too, as you radiate out love, serenity and kindness.

Consider using this meditation at the beginning of the day to prime your energy for love, or as a nighttime practice to help you drift off to sleep peacefully.
