Actually, it’s not that secretive. In fact, it’s le dernier cri, the latest thing, and everyone is talking about it — the Food Babe, Food Matters, Body and Soul…

Lemon juice in the morning.

So simple and yet so amazingly powerful.

Just a few of the benefits include:
– Vitamin C (immunity, baby!)
– Antibacterial
– Beneficial for the colon (always good)
– Aids digestion
– Balances pH
– Anti-inflammatory
– Great for your skin
– Strengthens the liver
– Much more!

Seriously!

How to prepare:

Squeeze half of an organic lemon into a cup or two of warm-ish water, add a dash of cayenne for circulation, say a little affirmative prayer of health, and voilà! Drink it down right quick! (If it’s too sour, add some more water, or a little maple syrup. I also like to add a little ginger, if I have it on hand.)

Also fun: I also love limes, so when I can find organic ones, I add a half lime, too.
