{ Eco + Vegan } January Favorites

Recently Chloe and I created an ingenious and sophisticated soirée concept called…

*Drum roll please*

Pancakes and Disney Movies.

It’s exactly what you think it is. Getting together and eating yummy, vegan pancakes with maple syrup, berry-chia compote, and… watching Disney movies.

Call us un-deep and un-philosophical if you wish, but… sometimes you’ve been working hard and long, and engaging in all kinds of productivity from power yoga to admin, and you’re just… spent. And, friends, sometimes the answer is a Disney movie.

Add in pancakes, and you’ve got a double-whammy of self-care and soul food, plus a side of fluffy nostalgia.

Now that you’re feeling warm and fuzzy, let’s talk January Favorites.

I’ll leave you with a quote from an underrated and almost forgotten Disney flick that is deliciously quirky, strange, and hilarious.  2007’s Meet the Robinsons. Every word out of Bowler Hat Guy’s mouth is comedic gold.

Bowler Hat Guy: Oh, I know! I’ll turn him into a duck! That’s delightfully evil! Oh wait… I don’t know how to do that… and I don’t need a duck…

Duck, duck, goose,

P.S. BTW, if you’re a female entrepreneur, you might want to look into the Female Entrepreneur Association’s Members’ Club. Chloe and I are big fans of this resource and network, so we thought we’d share it with you. Enrollment is actually closed for the group, but this month only we’re allowed to invite friends to join. 🙌 If you’re interested, learn more here. (Use the promo code “FRIENDS2018” to save $10 a month on your membership, woohoo!)
