They say the best way to learn something is to teach it.
So, it is with hopes of a radiantly healthy Christmas for myself, as well as for you, that I share our video today. I plan to keep these tricks in my back pocket, to whip out as soon as I inevitably begin to lose myself in the decking of the halls.
Go-to tips like these are a saving grace during the flurry of festivities. I, for one, find it incredibly easy, when Christmas rolls around, to drop my healthy habits. Even just the simple act of drinking water seems to mysteriously go out the window, leading to mega torpor. And what a shame, because the point of all this merry-making is connection and fun with our nearest and dearest, which of course requires presence and energy.
So here’s a thought: what if we used the upcoming break to string together days of exquisite self care, like pearls. Wouldn’t it be nice to begin 2019 as fit as a fiddle and raring to go? Wouldn’t it be nice not to have to use the month of January for undoing the damage of December?
This list is short and sweet for a reason. We want it to be easily memorisable, for whipping out as those canapés get wafted under your nose and the champagne bottles go *pop*. Of course we’re not saying you need refrain from everything, but remaining centred in your body in the midst of the madness means mindful appreciation rather than… scarfing.
