“A magic dwells in each beginning.” – Hermann Hesse
My friend Rima recently shared this quote, and I felt a little chill.
Now, I really hope Hermann’s right, ’cause these days I’ve been eating new beginnings for breakfast.
Remember that conversation we had several months ago about pivotal moments? (Back when I thought that I wanted to be a digital nomad? Yeah…) Well, since then, plans have changed and leaps have been taken.
Just a lil’ recap here… this last year has been filled with big leaping and pivoting:
Leap, leap, leap.
So, yes, we just moved to New Hampshire.
If you’re unfamiliar with New England, as I was this side of two months ago, let me tell you… it’s a treat. Four seasons, beautiful vistas, wide open spaces, and lovely adorable folk, eager to lend a hand, or drop an R.
So it’s “pahk,” not “park.”
(Oh, and it’s “wicked” cold.)
And as much as I wanted to create content for you over the past couple months, I just. couldn’t. do. it. Life was teeming with to-dos and urgent matters. I wasn’t burnt out, per se – don’t worry – nothing like that, but all that pivoting and leaping can leave one feeling a bit dizzy.
All this to say… that’s why I haven’t posted in a couple months. I truly apologize, but things got real, real quick, when we decided to move to New Hampshire. The whole green card kit and caboodle for my husband, the ins and outs and ups and downs of moving internationally. Apartment renting, bank account opening, car buying, insurance getting, furniture finding, etc. ad nauseum.
I go into more detail in the video, so let’s watch that, shall we?
So there you have it, friends. A whole lotta news!
I would just like to reiterate how grateful I am that you’re here reading this, and that you didn’t write me off as having fallen off the planet. Thank you, reader.
But now I’m here. Talk to me.
Words of encouragement? Any stories of when you took a big leap?
Can’t wait to hear from all of you,
